This is my youngest, S. Vincent. S. Vincent seems to be suffering from writers block today. Apparently he's doing an essay, and it's not an easy one, I was told, so would I mind doing laundry another time, the dryer and washer are just not that inspiring. Oh S. Vincent, you are a challenge. One of our summer visits to Casa Loma in Toronto. I can't believe my husband didn't want to have our wedding reception there. I think I might have to go see it all dressed up for Christmas. Maybe I'll have breakfast with Santa.

That would be a great space for a wedding - I bet it's also beautiful for Christmas!
Here's my snapshot.
What a beautiful old building. It looks like something out of Harry Potter.
It does look like a lovely place to visit.
Very beautiful and who wouldn't want to have breakfast with Santa?

What a handsome young man! And Casa Loma! I had forgotten its name, but I remember that I got to see it when we visited Toronto several years ago. They had a quilt show at the time and I was about to get whiplash from looking at all the quilts AND the beautiful architecture of this grand building!
Oh, to be surrounded by beautiful buildings like this one! And you have a handsome son, writer's block or not...lol
Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
What a beautiful building! It would be majestic with Christmas decorations...and a wedding, too!
:)
That would be a great place to have a wedding reception!
What a beautiful setting, and a handsome son.
Such a good looking son. I love that backdrop!
Here is my Saturday
Snapshot post!
Casa Loma looks like a lovely place for a reception. I hope your son got his essay completed.
Casa Loma looks like a beautiful place complete with water fountains.
I experienced writer's block often. I have a grandson who had a similar experience.
Not sure if you know this but I lived in Toronto (burbs) when I was a child. I remember Casa Loma but just vaguely.
LOL--wish someone would tell me that I don't need to do laundry how (as long as that person agreed to do it for me later).
I love old buildings. Nice shot.
wonderful place for inspiration
Nice to meet you, Irene's son! And that place does look like it would be PERFECT for a wedding reception!! You were robbed!
Gorgeous looking place to visit.
I wouldn't say no to getting married there. :)
Have a great week.

Dear Irene, I must believe upon viewing that castle and learning of his reluctance to receive guests there following your nuptials is owing to the fact that he was so ecstatic to finally be married to you, he didn't want anything in the surroundings to distract him from your enchanting face and form!
What other reason could there be?
Handsome guy........:-))
Ahhh Casa Loma, I was actually telling my daughter we should go there for the Christmas displays. We use to go when she was lil'.
