My sweet niece has been globe trotting again. She knows I love postcards so she sent me this lovely view of the mountains. According to Wikepedia Karkonosze [karkɔˈnɔʂɛ]; German: Riesengebirge; sometimes also called Giant Mountains) is a mountain range located in the north of the Czech Republic and the south-west of Poland, part of the Sudetes mountain system (part of the Bohemian Massif). The Czech-Polish border, which divides the historic regions of Bohemia and Silesia, runs along the main ridge. The highest peak, Sněžka (Polish: Śnieżka), is the Czech Republic's highest point with an elevation of 1,602 metres (5,256 ft).
I got to know my niece a little this past summer, and I suspect she'll be climbing more than one mountain top, watch out Sir Edmund.

Postcard Friendship Friday is hosted by Beth at the Best Hearts are Crunchy (Love that title) You know I had to add this too. O.K. now I'm thinking of John B. with this one.

Beautiful locations.
Wow. WHAT a word that is!
Beautiful! How nice it must be to visit there.
That's a part of the world I know very little about. Most cards from the Czech Republic seem to show Prague.
Nice combination! I find your little corner of the blogosphere to be different. If the music plays, I can't read, so including the link is a nice touch.
How charming! My Stephanie has always loved postcards and I still buy them for her. Happy weekend, dear Irene!
Beautiful mountains! Your niece is so sweet for sending you a postcard.
