The warmest Thanksgiving I can remember


Today was so warm that when I went out to pick the remainder of my tomatoes for our salad, look what I spotted. Isn't  he so cool.  I use to have a recipe for green tomato jam, it called for a packet of jello, can't find that recipe, if anyone has one, help.  It's been a very warm Thanksgiving.

Sounds like the froggy was having his own kind of celebration, in the water.
Your green tomato jam is not a recipe I could offer. would you settle for fried green tomatoes instead?

Oh mercy that was a sharp segue. I thought for a second there your recipe called for a frog ... dear Irene, I'm elderly and very literal. I need to be handled with kid gloves!!! HAHA in other news, Christmas DAY of 1982 in the Chicagoland area it was 60 degrees F. The next year on Christmas Day it was minus 21 F. So yeah, I hear you. Now I'm hungry for something, anything, featuring green tomatoes ...
