It's over...

I'm done with the election tasks, now to catch up on sleep, laundry, housework and other family responsibilities. Or maybe I'll just read something.  We've wound up with a minority government so chances of this happening soon are very likely.  While I welcome the opportunity to make a little cash, it's a gruelling couple of months, and I'm getting old.  I thought for sure I'd have to have the phone surgically removed, but somehow it came away without drastic measures.
I've missed the sign-up for the R.I.P. challenge hosted by Carl , but I may just read something a little scary to get me in the mood for Halloween.  I'm feeling a little sinister these days, could have something to do with the thunder I'm hearing.  I'm kinda thinking We've Always Lived in the Castle, by Shirley Jackson.

Every aspect of an election is draining. Hope you recharge soon!

I used to work elections, so I know you are wiped out! I read a good book for the RIP challenge called The White Devil.

Good for you for helping out. Glad it is over for you though. And I read that book for RIP last year. It is a quick easy read. I think you'll like it.

Well I'm glad you can finally have time to yourself. I would so read that Jackson book. I read her Haunting of Hill House and it was fabulously creepy. Loved it and would read again.
Relax and enjoy your weekend :)
