Snapshot Saturday, lasting beauty...

In honour of Andzia Wojtowicz.... Andzia Wojtowicz was a family friend, my mother grafted this rose for me a number of years ago, it has had a wonderful blooming spree this week, since I've been working like a good Canadian (election time) I miss my garden happenings so I brought this one in, it lasted almost all week.  Andzia gifted this rose to my mother it's bloom reflects the beauty of this wonderful lady.

Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce from at Home With Books.

What a beautiful color! We just started growing roses last year and I still don't know much about caring for them.

Those are ever so beautiful Irene. My mom was a huge lover of roses. Her favorite was the Peace Rose.

The few rose bushes I have love this cooler weather. Those late season blooms are lovely!
