Wee Bit of Wednesday...

This week’s questions come from miss Cassie over at Pike’s Peak or Bust Candle Co.!

{one} what was one thing that you valued when you were a kid?
I'd like to be really profound and say time with my family, but I think as a kid that probably wasn't it. I think play time was valued.  My mom was a slave driver, and made us do chores, so playtime was really a treat, especially when we were all still at home.  We lived sort of in the country and playing hide and seek in the dark was cool.  Needless to say I was always " IT"

{two} what was your favorite (+ lease favorite) subject in school?
I've always loved Art, English Math, not so much,  but it was o.k. but my least favourite was gym.  I've not very athletic, heck I can't even ride a bike or swim or skate. My kids can, but not me.

{three} do you remember your first love?
Yes. Doesn't everybody? Henry Sierpinski, we all loved him, he didn't even know we were alive, but nonetheless my older sisters and I mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Of course he was probably the only  older boy we knew, the rest were kids, or cousins, or annoying friends.

{four} what one pet would you love to have?
A giraffe

{five} would you rather live in the country or in the city?
I'd love to live on the boundry, close enough to bus service but not in the heart of the city.

{six} what do you love about blogging?
I find blogging very theraputic, I know I probably need professional help but...

{seven} what is the first website you visit everyday?
I don't know if this is a web site, but it's a blogger , Jenny , but then again I visit all the blogs on my list everyday.

{eight} will you or have you joined google+?
I don’t know. I don’t even know what it is.

{nine} what is your favorite scent of candle/air freshener?
I don't do air freshner, or scented candles. just can't take the fragrances.  I love the smell of pasta sauce cooking and when I need a slice of home that's what I do, make sauce.

{ten} how would you describe your style?
second hand rose.

Thanks Cassie! Great questions this week!

Thank you for sharing those insights, LOL! I too laughed at the giraffe comment. And I agree about Miz Jenny! I adore her and I think I found her as a result of one of her comments on you blog. And it is such a privilege to have met her! She is vivacious and just as witty in person as she is in cyberspace.

I remember my first love, Michael, and my least favorite subject was hands down, Math. On the other hand, I had a ninth grade English teacher that nurtured my love of reading and made me feel like I wasn't a total nerd for always having my nose in a book -- so English, was, not surprisingly my favorite subject in h.s.

I hated gym too! I can't handle most scented candles and air fresheners, but there are a couple that I like - cinnamon and fresh laundry scents. :)

Dear Irene, my blog certainly is a web site. You noodle. What else would it be??? LOLOL Thanks for visiting me first each day.

I too hated math and PE and loved English. Music more than art.

A giraffe? REALLY? Where would you keep him? What would you feed him? What would you say to him? Burning questions.

Oh and thanks for the love, Miz Donna! Right back atcha dollface!

I'm telling you, I love those giraffe creatures. I think it's incredibly amazing they even exist.

I'm sorry your mom was a slave driver. My mom just rolled her eyes a lot.
