I took these shots yesterday morning,(couldn't sleep, was just too pissed off, flowers always make things better). It truly was one last hurrah, as of this morning all that's left are stems, too much wind and rain, but it's been quite a ride.

Oh, it's great that you caught the photo! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous blooms.
And for visiting my blog....
Beautiful colors! I hear you on the wind and rain. Caused havoc here as well. Early mornings are good for something though aren't they.
Oh they are so vibrant and beautiful!
Just to let you know, the link you left on the Saturday Snapshot is from last week's post. If you want to add this post I'll delete the other one for you.
I love tulips so much. I wish they would do well here, but they don't really. It's too warm.
Awesome flowers; hope u r having a great day.
They're breathtaking and it's just like you, dear Irene, to care so much about every stage of their existence! I noticed some beautiful pink hydrangeas blooming at the side of my house. If I remember, I'll put some in a vase for Monday's table and take some pictures. My Erica will be home as Monday is her 25th birthday and we want everything to be super-lovely just like her. I hope you're having a wonderfully relaxing weekend!
very pretty, nice sunny day.
a shame they are finished.
hope you are feeling better.

Gorgeous. The colors of the tulips are lovely - very cheerful. I think I will try my hand at tulips again this year. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Early mornings and flowers are good for the soul. Those tulips are especially bright!
Three cheers for tulips! Those are doozies, LOL!
Hope the flowers worked their magic on your mood.
Beautiful!
Sorry you were in a bad mood.
You're right. A trip to the Arboretum can really cheer me up. Too bad I can't always do that! What was upsetting you?
These are lovely!
