Awhile back I discovered the Pearl Girls while surfing the net for something completely different, while I'm not a "really" regular reader I do find some of the writings quite thought provoking. Since this past week has sort of hit me like a brick wall (most weeks do) I thought I might share some of the thoughts other writers have during this reflective stage in my life. I can't tell you how much of a failure as a mom I feel, way too often. I know I'm a good daughter, and a good wife but this parenting thing????? I know my guys are fed, clothed, loved by me, but do they know it? So just to kick off the week before we celebrate I hope you'll take the time to read my Pearl Girls posts. Don't bother entering the draw for the pearl necklace, I'm winning it. I'm not sure I want to look like Barbara Bush but I'd just like to run that strand over my teeth.

Your thoughts rang a bell with me...I think any good mom has at one time or another in their parenting journey felt like they were missing the mark...I know it is sort of trite, but someone once told me that just the fact that you are fretting over whether you are a bad mother, means you are not a bad mother.
I think all moms worth their salt have worries like that! It is the ones who never think it that I would worry about!!
