Happy Mother's Day, tulips/two lips.

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there.  Remember when my sister had her stopover in Holland on route from Paris.  Well I planted all those bulbs, and nobody ate them. Here's my first open bloom. Pretty!. I don't usually make plans for Mother's Day, my mom being in a home and all, Mother's Day has to be more often, one day a year is just not enough. However, I did get a special treat, I'm always saying I want to go Antiquing, so my boy said go... and I did.  I joined a friend for an Antiquing adventure with the Antique Association.  While the antiquing was good, it was a pleasant day otherwise as well.  We had a great lunch, a nice glass of wine, and great weather.  I didn't go wild buying stuff, since I was by bus and transporting is just too difficult, it was fun nonetheless.  Today, I'll get my guy off to work and I'll spend the day doing mom things, like laundry and cooking, and I may just sit down and read a little. Have a wonderful Mother's Day.

I'm glad your mother's day was so nice! And don't you love the insides of tulips? It's almost as cool as the outsides.

Glad your tulips made it .. and that you had a pleasant Mother's Day. I too think Mother's Day should happen twice a year!
