I'm taking a break from my room painting and having a tea, much like the one in the above description. My son's room is presently painted a flaming orange. The ceiling originally was covered with stucco, and it was so thick and poorly done that I had scrapped a good portion of it off and created a design in the centre. By the time I did this, (the boys were very young at the time, and IT WAS March break,) my designated time for this project was almost gone, so I let it go, thinking I'll fix it later. Well it's later, the product I had used is no longer sold, so time for a new adventure. I still like the sun design in the centre of the room, (this was an attempt to keep this kid in bed longer, if he had something to look at while he laid there), so I just want to clean up the edges a bit more professionally, maybe I'll learn to put up crown molding.
I don't know how I did all this fancy stuff above, but it just did.

I don't even want to think about the projects that need to be done around here now that most of the kids are gone.
I'm taking a break too. I had big plans to paint this week (as in rooms, not canvas) but it's not going to happen. That strong tea is really appealing.....
It's a good time of year to get projects like that done! Hey, I'm glad to see that you can finally comment again on my blog! Please come and visit anytime! You never know what pics I'll show next, LOL.
I dont' know either but, like that tea and that tea-related line, it does pack a punch!
That is a good line! I'm with Nise. I have so many projects started and ones I should start that it makes my head spin. lol. Much easier to just sit back and open up a book.
