Saturday Snapshot

These are  pictures of DANiel, in the garage with his car in parts.  It's that time of year again, when the snow has melted and the axil is visible and driving me nuts.  I want my garden back, and my garage.  Well that's not going to happen.  I suppose it will get emptied when I move into a nursing home.  It's been one of those weeks, too much travel, not enough sleep, never enough sleep, too many emotions.  He certainly does challenge me.  Over and Over and Over again. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have faith. A psychiatrist I suppose.

Alyce over at At Home with Books is our hostess for  Saturday Snapshot.

DANiel is my eldest son, he is 25yrs.old.  this car has been going for about 3yrs.  When he purchased it he had a 10week plan.  I nearly fell down laughing at that one.  I spell DANiel that way because he wants to be called DAN.

Ah.. that brings back memories. My husband rebuilt a camaro years ago. When I would complain he'd say, 'at least it's in the garage and not in the living room'. Sigh.

Sounds like you need a quiet and relaxing day...and I hope you get one soon. I will never understand boys and their cars.

That would drive me crazy too! I haven't had any personal experiences like that before, but my brother-in-law once rebuilt a motorcycle in his kitchen. :)

I'm so impressed that he can work on a car like that!

Oh, great shots, Irene...and they remind me of when my various sons were living with me (in their adulthood!).

Thanks for visiting my blog, and take heart that your garage will someday be yours again....then you can take out the photos and laugh at the memories.

Those kids'll wear us down eventually ... only question is, will it be before or after life has worn us out?

These are puzzles for the ages, dear Irene.

Happy Birthday
