For Today or tommorow or the next day...

Outside my window....it's autumn, cool, sunny and a slight chance of rain. (Frost on the roof tops, and grass)
I am thinking.... I've got to get this house in some kinda order, not today...
I am thankful for...an extended "warm" fall
From the learning rooms...no idea what will pop into the ole brainiac today
From the kitchen...some kinda chicken and potatoes
I am wearing...you guessed it, p.j.s/ and then some work clothes
I am creating... a few painted Christmas Ornaments for a give-away my painting group is involved with.
I am going...to strip the remainder of my settee, and then what? start tying off springs, re-glue spindles etc.
I am reading.... still reading Musashi, and I'm going to finish it this week.
I am hoping...I'll be able to make the necessary repairs to my settee, without losing my cool.
I am hearing....my cat complain about his diet.
Around the house...laundry,washing floors  the usual.
Here's a photo I thought I'd share with you... It's a knot on a fence, I pass it as I get off the bus each time I visit my mother, I think it;s such a cool piece to put up.  The area/home is rather a small, old neighborhood. Like my mother in law would live in.  Some cool old person, a leftover hippy no doubt, or landlocked sailor.

Buona serata.

we've had warmish weather too. intersting when nights are in the low 30s and the day in the mid 60s.

A pirate!

You sound like me. Got to get the house in order ... manana!

We're having an extended warm fall too but I confess I'm over it. Highs are still in the mid-70s and that's just a tad too warm for me if I'm out and about. The sun is so strong! I like gray, misty fall days.

Can't believe you can do work to a settee. You be so talented, dear Irene.

Hi Irene, it's been a while. Very nice post - lots of reflections. I also like the knot.

National Pet Day...

This is our pet cat, he lived with us for 18 years, adopted from a shelter, best cat ever. RIP Keahan
