Outside my window... it's cold and raining.
I am thinking...I'm glad I did my outside work yesterday
I am thankful for...that first cup of coffee that always tastes so good in the morning,
From the learning rooms...recently when my mother was in the hospital and they were VERY attentive, I learned that as you age your swallowing muscles get weaker and sometimes senior drink too quickly and the small amount that they don't swallow overflows into their lung and sits there, unless they cough it up, "hence" pneumonia and that is why we so often hear of the elderly dying of this. My sister actually watched a barium test my mom had and she said you could see it going down the wrong hatch.
From the kitchen... giant pot of chicken soup, and something else ???????????
I am wearing...my p.j.s
I am creating...a new list of clients to see on Thurs.
I am going... to clean my room
I am reading....still Musashi
I am hoping...it stops raining for a couple of hours, I hate putting my trash out in the rain.
I am hearing... the cat chomp down on his food
Around the house... always something
One of my favorite things... a super clean closet with all the hangers facing the same way, and all the hangers the same colour, and all the short sleeves together and all the long sleeves together, Nuts eh!
Everytime I make chicken soup I think of this SNL clip, enjoy.
I actually got my husband with this kinda thing once. I was opening a jar of tomatoes, and some of the red tomato juice got on my hand, and as I had a knife in my hand, Viola, I said"Oh no look what I did" he being the overreacting kinda lifesaver the city paid him to be, started to get all wild and "Now what did you do" loudly, like it might be an inconvenience. The boys who "got it" started to giggle, (they watch SNL too) and he finally regained the colour in his face, and we said "Gottcha".

Oh my God !
Questo video è esilarante !!!!! :)
Ciao Irene.
Love the SNL clip! That never fails to crack me up.
And I think you'll be reading Musashi for quite a few weeks still!
And thanks for the education on pneumonias. I didn't know that.
ROFL! We love that SNL skit! Hubby can't stand to watch me use a knife and swears that I'll end up acting out the scene for real!
That was interesting about the swallowing muscles getting weaker in seniors. My mom has had a lot of choking problems when she tries to drink. I've told her that she's trying to do it too fast! But she keeps on doing the same thing, bless her heart.
You are too funny. Who is Viola? LOL just kidding. I think I know what you mean .... dear Irene, you are an original. That's what I love about ya!
I haven't ever done anything like that, but that video is funny!
That first cup of coffee is the best. Thanks for the clip :)
