Do you remember that song "Love will keep us together" well what kind of love we talkin' here. Ever since I read Willow's blog with her sausage recipes I've had a craving. But, since my husband was away on business and my son doesn't do anything that isn't served with mash potatoes and is breaded, all I've been able to do is assemble my ingredients. So on Saturday, instead of going out for dinner for his birthday, we had sausage and cabbage. I had to add some spiced tomatoes, and served it with rice instead of the noodles. We gobbled it up. So when they say Love will keep us together, is it love or food. There are just some foods you eat with certain people.

We love sausage and cabbage...well, my hubby and I do, our son, not so much. He'll eat the sausage, but not the cabbage. Same with sausage and sauerkraut.
I've never tried it with tomatoes in it, but we LOVE tomatoes, so I'll try that next time!
Oh, and yes. I do remember that song!
