For Today...

Outside my window... it's cool and damp, but we are suppose to get up there in the temp.
I am thinking...I hate washing floors
I am thankful for... no drop in friends.I live too far away so they call before they stop by, and I get to rush around and tidy up.
From the learning rooms... today I hope to learn how to reinforce my chair frame.
From the kitchen...City chicken, with mashed potatoes and brocolli, or cole slaw
I am wearing...my sports clothes,
I am creating...a new shelf in my library
I am going..to renew my drivers license, LOL and then.to furniture refinishing class
I am reading...Feels Like Family, Sherryl Woods, this is book 3 in the 4 of my 3, 4, 5 challenge.  I'm really late with this one.
I am hoping...my setee didn't dry out so much through the summer in the workshop that I'll have to give up on it.
I am hearing...myself on the keyboard, ONLY even the cat is quiet.
Around the house...I'm starting to see the end of the clean up after my husbands get together over the weekend.
One of my favorite things... a new season of special interest classes.

For Today is hosted by The Simple Woman's Day Book.

I had to chuckle at what you are thankful for...I feel the same way.

First ... what is city chicken? Sounds good.

Second ... I hate washing floors too.

Third ... we are having record high temps here ... as in, today (Tuesday) we broke a record set in 1925 for a high of 98 degrees. I had to go out in the morning but was home a little after noon and "in for the day" as they say! I'd like some of that cool damp you're talking about.

Bless you, Irene! Good luck with your settee.

I hate washing floors too! I would be suspicious of anyone who liked doing that!
