For Today,

This meme is hosted by the Simple Woman's Day Book.
FOR TODAY
Outside my window...it's dark, the solar butterfly my brother-in-law bought me for Mother's Day a few years ago is going all different colours.
I am thinking...Lost is getting pretty weird
I am thankful for...pain relievers (I've been stripping furniture and my finger is killing me.
From the learning rooms...today I learned there are still gentlemen in the world, some of the older men in our refinishing group helped me lift my setee onto the table, I was hoping someone knew CPR.
From the kitchen...angel hair pasta with pesto, and tomatoes
I am wearing...my p.j.s
I am creating...a Mother's Day card for a friend.
I am going... to sit here and rest my tired body
I am reading...The Devils Punch Bowl
I am hoping...to finish stripping my setee next week so I can feed my wood, before the summer break.
I am hearing...the waves on a beach.(Lost)
Around the house...nothing much is happening.
One of my favorite things...watching the paint curdle up when I put stripper on it.

A few plans for the rest of the week:painting tomorrow, and visiting with my mom, upholstery on Thursday, Friday is up in the air. Saturday we're having a Mother's Day celebration and Sunday, I think I may just cook up something special for me and my guys.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

I was standing at the bus stop last Wednesday, on the way to the painting studio, and thinking about painting my sky, and there it was. In the time it took me to get my camera out of my purse it changed. I saw and area in the clouds that looked just like an eye, and the sun was in the center, quite awesome. This is the shot after.
Have a great week and check out the other For Today posts.

I like your comment about watching the paint curl up from the stripper. I've been having a memerizing time cleaning things outside with a power washer. It is so hypnotic and oddly satisfying to clean things like that!

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
