For today...

From The Simple Woman's Day Book.

Outside my window...very windy, and cold again

I am thinking...How can I hide all these peppers in the Pioneer Woman's Cajun meatloaf (my guys won't eat peppers if they can identify them.

I am thankful for...my friends new and not so new.

I am wearing...my grubby track pants, furniture refinishing is very messy.

I am remembering... when my dad brought home this old school desk from Pan Daca's after the fire.

I am going...start walking again.

I am currently reading... The Sugar Queen

I am hoping...a good turn out at the Sewing Fest.

On my mind... ~my oldest and his new life away from home

Noticing ... how much I miss him.

Pondering these words...children are not really ours, they are on loan to us

From the kitchen... Cajun meatloaf

Around the house...quite a mess.

One of my favorite things... a great cup of tea.

Sharing a photo of a settee that is calling my name "Irene, please rescue me"...

That settee would look lovely and it doesn't look like it's in too bad of shape.
Peppers...diced or chop them as small as you can. Food processer or the slap chop would work
And who deosn't have a messy house? Life is too short!

Happy Birthday
