Muse Monday

Today Muse Monday is...

Where do you keep the books on the top of the tbr pile? Not the bunk of the mountain, but just the tip of the peak – the ‘almost up to’ books?

I'm not very organized in this respect. I'll read someone's review and get all hepted up and need to read that book immediately, so consequently the TBR keeps growing. But, once I decide on a book or a challenge, I tend to keep things like that. I have staircase and books are sorted there between the spindles, the immediate TBR pile is on my end table which is an antique patio table that I can't bear to expose to the elements. My living room is the location for maximum reading pleasure, so that's the spot.

For those of you wondering, safety is not compromised with the step storage, they are very wide, and nobody uses the handrail. (they dirty the wall on the opposite side with their fingers, or just leap down to drive me nuts.

I agree I don't read in bed too often...I just fall asleep too fast.

and I certainly understand the issue of reading a great review, running out and getting it and the TBR pile just grows...lol

love your add on. lol. I have the bookshelf that's in our bedroom for favorite already read and those I'm prioritizing to soon TBR. Showed it in one of my picture of the day recently. Oh course there's a multitude of other bookshelves with mroe books around the house as well as numerous boxes of books all with TBR. I don't have to walk into another bookstore or library for the rest of my life and I'd have enough in the house right now but of course....

Dear Irene you are so funny. I love your stairstep bookshelf arrangement. I don't have that particular feature at the domicile but we have books EVERYWHERE. Stacks and shelves and boxes full. It's great.

Happy Birthday
