I know when my family reads my blogs they think I'm a little disturbed, or perhaps lacking in something to do. I on the other hand find these daily posts extremely relaxing. And this is my down time. I get as much satisfaction out of writing my posts and thinking as I do out of pound the H... out of a piece of cheap meat with my mallet. So today I'm participating in yet another meme. (love that word).
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following: Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My book is: A Year and a Day, Leslie Pietrzyk.
"This time I mean it, I'm really going to fall apart," So we stayed ready, expecting a bing bang--a noisy, messy, interesting thing with yelling and hyperventilating and maybe even fainting. I never thought falling apart would be like this, that she simply dissolved. Pg. 5
I was hooked on this book from the first page.
