Apparently September is Sewing Month and as a sewer I would be remiss to not post a book related to that subject. I've owned this book since my college days. I keep it for reference, but, our instructor, or professor or what ever you could call her Ms. Morgan was so thorough that I rarely have to look things up, she drummed the info into our heads never to be forgotten. She was wicked, she would have made a good nun of the old days, you know when the nuns still slapped us around with rulers. Anyway, this book is timeless, it really doesn't matter if we've gone computer or if styles change, the process remains the same. I'm not sure I could have taught myself, but...

I love old books. This one looks like one my mom would have loved!!!
BTW:
Thanks for playing!
I can barely follow a pattern, nevermind design one myself. LOL!
All this sewing info (Carmi, Leslie.......) is a plot to get me sewing again, I just know it!

I'm just itching to scan the illustrations from this book Irene. Even though I don't really sew, pattern books fascinate me.
