If you are a regualar reader on my blog, you know I like to play in various artistic media.  One such media is furniture restoration/refinishing etc. This past Thursday was the last day of my "scheduled time" at the location a number of us meet to play.  I had this brilliant idea to donate a little half moon table to one of the events I take part in the spring.  As you can imagine the piece I chose needed my touch.
For Five On Friday over at Love Made My Home, here is my five things I learned about myself this Thursday.

1.  I have too many brilliant ideas, most of which distract me from the task at hand.

2.  I love to challenge myself with each piece I restore.

I say this image on The Graphics Fairy site, and decided I needed to search out a piece that would look fab with this transfer on it.

so while it won't be an easel, it will be fab, I'm sure.

3.  When I take on a project the juices just flow, BUT, the time is always so limited.  Why would I start a new piece on the last day.  'Cause I'm nuts.

4.  Most jobs I take on are bigger than I think they will be.

5.  The last thing I learned was that I'm more than nuts, I'm efficient,  I managed to strip and clean the half moon table , in just a little over 1 hour, I had no intention of a complete makeover, just a lipstick and rouge clean up.  It's looking good.  It'll be done up and ready for bidding by the time our event rolls around.

I want to be you when I grow up. I want to be crafty but I'm not. I'm going to start with teeny tiny projects a 2 yr. old could do and work my way up.

Number four resonates with me, dear Irene! And I have no doubt you're efficient when you work on your beloved projects. I can't wait to see a picture of your table. xoxo
