For today...

Looking out my window
My tulips are in full bloom, but so are the dandelions
I am thinking
I really don't want to think about the dirt in this house

I am thankful
the warmer weather

One of my favorite things
having breakfast with my boys

I am wearing
work clothes, plan on getting dirty today

I am creating
a new piece, with some new products, mixed media entitled
Spring time in Paris,

I am reading
Still Life, Louise Penny, love Inspector Gamache

I am hoping
to have enough energy to clear off enough room to make some curtains
I am learning
to stop saying, "how can I help"

In my kitchen
I think it will be banana cake, and whistle dogs today, not necessarily in that order

In my garden
quite a mess, it's warm then it's cold, so I've just pulled a few dandelions, other than that it's time to regroup and make my garden less work, more pleasure.
my one and only tulip(imported from Holland) that survived the winter, the others in the garden are purchases from local stores.

   Board room
I have so many pins on pinterest, but of late I'm looking to do something with my buttons or my garden
there was not web site for these, but aren't they cool?

Post Script
The following "thought" is shared with you from one of my favorite painters Tracy Moreau, you can check out her site here
 Thought for the day:
Be a girl with a Mind, a woman with an attitude and a lady with class.
A moment from my day
books to return to the library, and that piece of wood in the background is repaired and ready for paint, (it's the door from a music cabinet we had as children, I'm not musical, but I do have "things" to put in)

Where to start? The quote -- a girl with a mind, a woman with an attitude, a lady with class -- truly resonates with me. Then -- I looked at Tracy Moreau's website and I love/want/need her sugar skull platter. I'm wild about sugar skulls and that plate is a real peach. Then -- good heavens, did you have to say whistle dogs and make me do a double-double-take and open up a new tab to see what that actually is? Now my mouth is watering, thanks a lot, dear Irene. I'll take four whistle dogs and you can have my slice of banana cake. I'm glad you love having breakfast with your boys. May it occur often and may you all linger over a second (or third) cuppa! xoox

Our weather's been pretty warm and, for some odd reason, the next two days are going to be cool. I'm trying to look on the bright side and think about the fact the air conditioner won't have to run.
