Positive Day Challenge...

I've just finished my contract with the election co-ordination, and I'm tired, so needless to say all those spring things that should have been done are still here to be done,  I pulled a few weeds and then decided my cuticles needed to look good for this wedding this week, there is nothing more embarrassing than sitting around a very formal table all dressed up and having construction worker hands  So I felt a little down and thought I need to get myself up and going next week, never mind the hands.  We've had a "tornado" type storm in the area so the wind had done things, but this morning the sun came out and...
my clematis is blooming... I've been wondering?

Positive Day Challenge - Day 1

I saw this challenge on facebook in my nieces timeline and saw she had not taken up the challenge, or at least I didn't see her respond to it, but think I need to do this, I need to say 3 positive things a day for 5 days. Here we go.

We've had such a harsh winter I thought I'd be starting again in my yard,  I have no grass, but I do have a few delightful blooms.  So that's positive #1.  Positive #2 my eldest A ced his midterm, that must mean he's going to class.  Cross your fingers, say a prayer the trend continues.  Positive # 3, my roof is intact, even after those vicious winds.

The garden will still be there next week, go and treat yourself to a manicure. Yeah Daniel, keep up the excellent work. CA

Love the yellow flower! Congrats to your son doing so well on his midterm!! I'll send a prayer up that he keeps doing great. Glad your roof is ok, they can be so expensive to repair!

Good for you Irene. Thinking positive thoughts. That is just what I should be doing.
Being thankful for family and friends, and for a week off babysitting duties.
Being thankful for creative people, and the chance to view their results at art galleries etc.

I was thinking only the other day, I have a terrible inclination to be negative. Then I realized that thought itself was negative, so I purposed to be more positive on purpose. It's too bad it takes work, at least for me. Thanks for reminding me, dear Irene. xoxo

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
